Dear participants of the TRIPLE ThatCamp!
Please help us maintain a friendly and positive event experience for everyone, regardless of physical appearance, disability, age, race, ethnicity, political affiliation, national origin, religion, gender, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression — and other aspects of diversity. We would like the ThatCamp to be a safe virtual space.
- Set a goal to learn from others. Show appreciation for the diverse ideas and perspectives that arise. Be inviting and accommodating to include as many people as possible in group interaction.
- Respect the privacy of others. Accept if other people don’t want to answer personal questions and never share private information without consent.
- Dare to be vulnerable. Trust your fellow participants to embrace even your smallest contributions. Believe that great ideas begin as tiny seeds.
- Construct your criticism to be optimistic and solution-oriented. Build on the competencies of other participants to contribute to innovative transformations.
We do not tolerate any form of harassment. This includes abusive, discriminatory, derogatory or demeaning language and behaviour. Sexual language and imagery is not appropriate for this event. Please do not encourage other participants to violate our shared values. Any participants violating these rules may be sanctioned or expelled from the event at the discretion of the event organisers.
Finally, a few logistical details:
- Please mute yourself in the Zoom plenary meeting unless you are given the floor.
- Raise your “hand” (symbol at the bottom of the Zoom screen) if you want to say something.
- “The rule of two feet”: All participants are free to leave a circle (i.e. breakout session/room) and join another one at any time. Just write a note in the room chat box in Zoom, to inform the others that you’re off to explore the other rooms.
